I really didn't like the battle system, i missed the old system like in final fantasy viii and IX. So who liked the battle system and who didn't?

yeah this battle system was pretty dumb but i did like the story and the monsters they had in it though.

i wish they just go back how the systems was before.

All it takes is getting used to, I didn't mind turn based, not that the new system is worse, but i could just tap "X" on the turn base and when most battles. So I will say neither is better. However I felt that Quickenings were much to tedious...

I don't really like the system.
Granted, once you get used to it, it's not that much of a burden, but personally i like my RPG's like i like having sex......Turn-Based!!

I suppose there trying to attracte more potential fans by making the game alot more faster, although infact i love the random battles and im not ashaimed to say that.

I don't like the battle system in this game, i think it makes the environments so ugly when they could be so much more prettyer.

First of all, let me say that FFVII will always be closest to my heart.

But I did acually like the new battle system in XII. It made the basic fights much more fluent. Although it did make some of the boss battles bloody hard.
