One of my many favorite scenes is when Cecil changes from being a Dark Knight to a Paladin. That was just awesome. Sure, you started at level 1 again, but you get a pretty powerful sword that does holy damage AND you have to make your way down a mountain filled with the undead and dark monsters. Can you say power levelling? XD

Kain is probably my favorite. Omg, I've avoided soooo many gameovers by using Jump. Sure, he constantly betrayed Cecil and the gang, via mind control, but who can blame him? Everytime you got him back, he always had really good equipment on, so I wasn't complaining.

Now before I go on to Rydia, I'm gonna stop here XD.

I've played this one...although i stopped playing after Cecil went paladin, cause my emulator got erased....T_T

I'm too lazy to get the emulator (Plus, I don't remember how to work it). I'll probably get it as soon as I feel the need to play old games.

Anyway, things get pretty good after that. I bought it for the gameboy after it came out - I HAD TO!! >.<

I was playing it on my friend's GBA....and he was at the part where Kain started to go all emo and proceeded to kick my ^&*.....HARD.

Why did Kain betray Cecil for?

Well, Kain was always jealous of Cecil because he has Rosa, so I guess those negative emotions made it easier for Golbez to get him under his mind control.

Well kain a dumba** i like him alot hes a good character as a dragoon and all. He has no reason to be jealous.

Well, hormones will get you that way.....especially if the girl is hot....but wait...Rosa wasn't all that..

nevertheless, if that was the case, Kain could of just spat game at some NPC in the game....

Well, Cecil WAS the only character in a relationship in FF4. Well, there's Edward or whatever that bard's name was and that one girl...but she died. Then Edge tries to hook up with Rydia...who knows how that works...

If anything Kain should have went for Rydia....after she ages a bit :lol:

LOL...funny how in every final fantasy, there's always some romance of some sort going on....

Yeah, whether romance is the main theme or not. But I read an interesting fact:

Cecil and Rosa are the ONLY Final Fantasy characters (that are playable) that actually get married.

Weelll, it was something like that. That or "a couple that starts from the very beginning of the game" or some mess like that. But I think it's the marriage one.

In ff9 zidane and garnet get married too.
