Tyme Ishinara

In my novels, Tyme exists in the same point in time as another character, but that was long before I created a "pathway". This "pathway" leads from this character, through to Tyme. Let me start from the beggining...

Tyme was once a great warrior, he battled a great many dragons and demons. He had a limited connection to the Timestream, capable of only forming distortion balls the size of a baseball. Upon slaying the final dragon in his land, he had decided to settle down for awhile in the town of Ishra. He was there for a few months before he met a 16 year old boy with wings, the boy had asked for his help.

Tyme laughed and refused to help him, only to discover this boy had a strong connection with the Timestream after a fight with a shapeshifting dragon. He didn't learn much about the boy, this was due to an incident that occured a few years later. Tyme sacrificed himself to allow his companions to escape from near death, none of them knew he still lived, but not physically.

Trillions of years go by, his name being lost to history. It wasn't until after another man was killed, this same man was also in tune with the Timestream, it was then that Tyme put a plan into motion. The man's body was destroyed, that was when the man's spirit was transferred to another body. In turn, that body was destroyed, allowing Tyme to fuse his spirit with the man's. This caused Tyme and the man to both share a body.

Tyme's weapon preference is a sword, not one just anyone can use, he prefers to wield a sword made directly from the Timestream. Thus Bastu was born, it's blade is massive and made of an unknown metal, possibly one that doesn't exist yet. Due to the massive blade, the sword has no sheath, but Tyme wears a special armor with a clip on the back for the weapon. The blade contains the Japanese symbols for peace on both sides, this unique weapon enhances his Time-related abilities.

Due to the fusing of both souls, every time a red moon appears, he is split into two versions of himself; Human Tyme and Dragon Armada. Each time this happens, the two are forced to do battle, but lately the Human has lost the will to fight. Besides the splitting, Tyme in whole, fights to protect his wife and two children from those who would harm them. On top of all that, he was designated by the Timestream as Earth's guardian. That means, if he dies, the planet dies.
