So i heard this game is suppose to come out sometime in the begging of Dec. and it's sequel in the end of Dec.

Final Fantasy 13 isn't even finished its around 30% finished and Final Fantasy Versus is probibly around 5% concidering it was only a couple of months ago when they announced that Final Fantasy Versus was only 3% done.

Sqaure doesnt even know the release date, so i doubt Gamespot would know.

Also Amazon also has it for pre-order for sometime in 2008. It will NEVER be released this year, the only thing that might be released this year is a demo, and even thats unlikly because square said there wouldn't send out a demo any time soon.

Also Final Fantasy Versus XIII isn't a sequel its part of Fabula Nova Crystallis, also including Final Fantasy Agito XIII & Final Fantasy Haeresis XIII.

Well square enix has announced it will be a sequel to final fantasy 13 on their official site . where do you get your information. Oh it comes out december 31 2008 and us its may or march 2009.

Okay maybe FFXIII and FF Versus XIII is a sqeuel but FF1 to FF13 are not sequels.

Also where do you "DragonicTrebor" get your information from? They have no dates what so ever, maybe a date for a demo but they havent released a date of when FFXIII will be released. I can promise you they havent and if you find a source, that proves that it will come out on that specific date you just told me then find i'll hold my hands up and say i was 100% wrong.

just so you know Promethus, DragonicTrebor didn't say he had an actual date, he said it might where did you get that he said there was an actual precise release date?
it was a guess on his side. HE actually does have a good guess cause this is what is going on in the game world.






At one point - and it seems like a looooong time ago now - Final Fantasy XIII actually had a "TBA 2007" release date. However, due to some unexplained problems, Square-Enix has been forced to keep pushing this game into the distant future. The latest reports hinted at the possibility we might not even see it in 2008, and the veteran RPG publisher has never really talked about an actual release date.

However, Amazon.com is ready to party. They want all you die-hard FF fanatics to pre-order the game now: their listing says we can expect Final Fantasy XIII to arrive on November 30, 2008. Obviously, it's nothing more than a placeholder date for pre-orders, but perhaps Amazon knows something we don't...it does make sense for Square-Enix to target the holiday season (regardless of which year we're talking about), and it does hold in line with recent news and updates. However, as all those updates have been incredibly vague, we can't imagine November 30 of next year is the official date.

Even so, you've now got well over a year to place your pre-order with Amazon.com, which means it might even break Halo 3's record of 1.5 million total pre-orders! Well, maybe not. But it should rack up some big numbers, and we do hope this prompts Square-Enix to deliver more Final Fantasy XIII-related news.
