Title: Tas-Druna
rapture - October 7, 2007 09:38 PM (GMT)
Graveyards...
Tombstone after Tombstone passed as she walked lightly, silently through the maze of marble and granite , heading to one spot. The smell overwhelmed her, the smell of the dead. Finaly she stopped, and looked on a marble statuet (sp?) of an angle, looking down, as if praying for the fesh mound of dirt. If she could cry, she was sure whe would be, but instead her face stayed dry, smooth and pale, as if it where the moon. Her name echoed through her head, softly, "Rapture..." it sounded so familure, so warm.
Rapture dropped to her knees, uttering a soft cry at the sound of her name. Her eyes fell to the names on the marble plaquerd underneath the stone angel. "David and Mary Krytzer, Loving parents, wonderful friends, you will be remembered."
One Grave was fresh, the other had traces of grass growing over top of it. She knew who died first. She sat there, staring at the stone, grabinga handfull of dirt, and and didn't breath, becoming her own statue. The wind whistled passed through the leaves, blowing her jet black hair back, into the wind. "Rapture..." Sounded as if it was time to go.
Barely noticable, Rapture nodded her head, leaned forward and kissed the cool marble, whispering as she pulled back, "I love you mother, and you too father.. I'll always miss you..." How sad it was to miss her parents death. To not even have the chance to see their faces warm and eyes full of light. Maybe it was better that way. Rapture sighed and stood up, turning in an instant and began the walk back. The wind blew again, bringing the scent of a human near by. She stopped, and looked around. That scent, too, was familure. Scanning the graveyard, she found the form. "Arya?" she called, unsure. As if on call the clouds parted, the bright full moon shone brightly, and fell onto the face of the woman. Involintary, the woman walked forward a step, and when she saw Rapture she stopped, staring wided eyed. "Rapture..." she whispered so softly, a normal person wouldn't hear.
Rapture walked forward, awe in her expression. "Arya.... it is you...my sister..." the 63 year old woman stared, and moved her lips as if to call out Rapture's name again, and promptly fainted. Rapture moved quickly, and caught her sister before she fell to the ground, and carried her to Arya's car.
Emergancy rooms was the worst place for Rapture. She absolutly hated the idea of needing help. Explaining her family ties to her sister was a trip. of course a 17 year old would only be the daughter of a 63 year old, not the sister. So thats what she said. When they took Arya, and placed her in her own room, Rapture silently left, to be unnoticed by the nurses, who found the names and number of Arya's family.
Back to the graveyard she went, to retreive her car. tonight there was more work to be done. something was hunting humans, and Rapture was going to find the beast and put it out quickly. Jumping into her silver Lamborghini, she sped towards the city, Tas-Druna.
It wasn't hard to find the trail of the monster. Quickly she found him, a newborn unsuppervised. It was her job to stop the monster. He was feeding, carelessly of his cover, at the back of an allyway. Qickly she caught him, and he roared, unsuspecting an attack. The fight took only a second, and soon the newborn was dead at her feet... as was the human girl he was attack.
"Damn..." she'd gotten there to late. Taking the vampires and his vitcum's bodies, she drove out to the woods surrounding the city, and burned them. When her work was done, Rapture returned to her appartment in downtown Tas-Druna. The music from the clubs roared loudly, and people walked the streets, in groups, laughing loudly and talking. Dancing was soon to occure in the streets again. Loking out the window of her three-roomed appartment she sighed, and remembered the feel of the cold one's touch, the only male touch she could remember, and sighed, swaring to her self, yet again to kill him.
Tassadar - October 7, 2007 10:26 PM (GMT)
memories...everything around him brought back stained and tortured memories...memories that were all but forgotten for the last 20 years. all that had been on his mind for so long was revenge....was slaughtering the lycans that he had tracked for what seemed like to him 100 years...the once fun loving, eager to please boy that he once was. always looking to make his masters happy...but that was before the werewolves killed his mentor...that was before his heart turned to ice..that was before he stopped caring about everything except the death of a lone lycan.... a silver back named Peter Frasier...
Tass walked downt he street in the middle it was late at night there would be no cars. his blood red trench coat showed every shadow that he passed through. his sword laided strapped onto his back. it was a simple claymore that was beaten and chipped in many places...it was old...and it was falling apart...but even through all its stains and weaknesses...tass was happy with it because it had served its purpose....he was ready to put it away and never use it again...Tass also carried with him a bag in his right hand. it was soaked and looked like it was starting to mold or something...
Tass slowly came to a stop in the middle of the street and looked apon a large house...almost a mansion sized building. and then nodded to himself..." its time i face them....im ready" he gripped the bag tighter and then walked to the gate of the house he pushed it open and then was confronted by two men where were armed. Tass raised a brow and then smirked slightly" i am here to see Nacrilit"
the armed men shook their heads" sorry....but hes been dead for awhile....there is a new leader.....go inside she will be summoned...." Tass looked at them with a raised brow thinking to himself " Nacrlit dead...how could this have happened and who on earth would have taken his place...." he rubbed the back of his neck and then started to enter...they took his weapons both his sword on his back and a short sword onhis hip. they tried to take the bag from him but he refused...they lead him into an office and closed and locked the doors behind him....so he waited...
Drexel - October 7, 2007 10:43 PM (GMT)
The pitter patter of the rain echoed through his head as he walked down the stairs in the soundless house. Looking out the window Drexel noticed that it was dark out. Had he really slept that late? The house was empty. Everyone must have gone to the party without him, not even bothering to wake him up. "Oh well," he thought out loud. Already dressed, he simply walked out the door and into the downpour.
His bike was the only one left in the garage; they always took their bikes when it was raining. He revved the engine a few times and then shot of into the wetness. The road was slick, dangerous, just the way he liked it. Passers bye saw him only as a red and black blur followed by a jet of water spurting up from the back tire. The roar of the bike was muffled to his water-clogged ears as he sped along sans-helmet.
It only took a few minutes before he saw the lights flashing off of the droplets in the sky. Of course he heard the music far before he saw the lights, but they always caught his eye. A blend of greens, blues, and reds refracted through the raindrops sent a spiral of colors all over the place. It was like a fireworks show without the bangs, unless you counted the hypnotic thumping of the bass drums. How they kept from getting busted was a mystery. Maybe the cops just didn't feel safe out here in the woods.
The road ended in a patch of gravel that served as a parking lot for hikers. Of course it was more often used by the freaks who go to late night raves. His laughter was barely audible even to himself as he skidded to a halt, hurling rocks into the air. The party was still a few miles off, but that was nothing to someone like Drexel. He sped off hooting and hollering in excitement.
rapture - October 7, 2007 10:47 PM (GMT)
Staring out the window brought some comfort to her. The lives of the people were safe.. for now. The looks on everyone's faces were that of pure joy and fun. Nodding to her self she turned from the window, and walked to the bathroom, turning the shower on.
The warm water was comfoting to her. Rapture's usual death cold skin warmed, and even seemed to redden under the water, bringing back the slight look of a human. Of course, she'd never look normal again. Her skin shinned to brightly, and her grace over exceeded that of any dancer. Closing her never sleeping eyes, and Rapture sighed and leaned against the shower wall, letting the water fall over her cold skin.
Then the phone rang. Turning off the shower, and slipping a towel around her body, she answered.
"Rapture..you have a visitor. Claimed to be looking for a Nacrilit.." a smooth voice said softly. "We are holding him, until you come."
Nodding to her self she replied, "I'll be there soon.. ask him if he needs anything while he waits, he is a guest after all, and I do like to treat my guests with care.."
"Yes ma'am. One more thing.. he looks like he drinks human blood..." the male voice replied.
"I'll take that into consideration.." Her voice was instantly cold and powerful. Too easy for them the catch us, she thought, with idiots saying that sort of thing allowed... Hanging up the phone, Rapture quickly dressed, a long white skirt, and a blue vest.. her usual clothing for such jobs as this.
Racing the down the street, Rapture thought of who it could be, but no ideas popped into her head. Reaching the gates with a sigh, rapture entered silently, parked, and walked into the great, ancient, house. All talking stopped, as every vampiric eye turned to her. Random people came up to her, most she had no clue who they were. I did not have so many people... i guess they get lonely...
Quickly apture walked up the stairs and down the hall where two guards stood on either side of a door. "Thank you gentalmen, I'l no longer need you to gaurd this door, I have it under control." Nodding the two men left, and Rapture walked silently in, closing the door behind her.
Instantly her jaw dropped, for there standing in front of her, was he long gone friend, Tassadar. Rapture stood there, leaning against the door, staring at the man who left so long ago. "And so you've returned.."
Tassadar - October 7, 2007 11:03 PM (GMT)
Tassadar stood with his back to the door he didnt not scavage around or search through anything he loved to watch the rain, it was soothing it was something that Rapture had once taught him to use to calm himself down when he was angry...when he was in his rages...its why he stopped getting in fights....she had taught him that he didnt need to prove to everyone...expecially nacrilit that he was strong...that he was Amazing...
she was the only thing that really made him want to become a member of this family...of this order...but he was always angry...always quick to use force and violence to get what he wanted....its what made him different...but its what made him so loyal and trusting....
"And so you've returned.."
he didnt recognise the voice right away it sounded familiar but he wasnt sure. as he turned his head sideways to see who it was his eyes wided and he quickly turned around and took a step towards her his arms raised slightly and then ashe saw him cheak himself he lowered his arms his smile left his face and he sighed heavily.
"yes...im sorry for leaving the way i did...i...i had things to do and Nacritil never understood....so i wasnt sure if you would either....i came back...because...this is the only home i have ever known....and i..."
he wanted to say he missed her he wanted to say anything to let her know that she was the only thing that he could think about other than killing Peter. but it wouldnt come out
"i came with proof of my sucess....Nacrifil said i would have to...bring back Peter's head in order to be one with the clan again...." he lifted the bag and then pulled out the silver head of a werewolf. he put it down on a table next to him and then took a step back..
" i wish to be by your side again...i will do what is necessary to be one with this family...again..."
rapture - October 7, 2007 11:31 PM (GMT)
Tassadar, started to step forward, but stopped him self. It seemd as if he was fighting emotions back, as he explained his request, and then the proof that Nacrilit had asked for. Setting down the head or a werewolf. She could tell by the blood. The woodsy smell was all over it, and so was the dog.
Wrinkling her nose in distast, Rapture looked back at the man in front of her, still seeming to conflict with emotions. It was raining.. had it always been raining? Gracefully she walked seemingly floated towards Tassadar, she looked into his ruby red eyes, and sighed, slightly dissipointed, but kept an unreadable expression. "You've changed in the last 20 years, Tassadar. You've brought the proof that my master asked of you, there for I will stick to his word. You are excepted. But your diet needs changing." Rapture looked coldly at tha man in front of her and straightend. "I'll have no human feeders among my ranks! You are to be like us or not one of us, Is that understood?" Eyeing Tassadar once more, Rapture turned her back to him and walked over to one of the many curtained windows, and looked out at the storm. "Tass," she spoke softly this time," you where my brother, the closest thing I had to a family, and then you just left. I was hurt. But I understand now." Sighing softly, she shook her head and walked to the door, stopped and looked over her shoulder. "Welcome back, my brother." and she walked through the door, and closed it behind her.
Swiftly, Ra[ture walked to her room, where she changed into the spare clothes she kept there, a pair of tattered jeans and a t-shirt, and walked to the balcony doors, looking over at the never used bed, and walked through the double french doors, to stand out in the rain. Closing her eyes, she just listened to the world around her, the rain hitting everything in sight, socking her to the bone, the low thrum of music in the basically sound proof house, and something else in the distance. Rapture listened closer, looking for something that would trigger some hidden memory. Then she heard it, howling, and music, nothing like she heard in the house. Rapture opened her eyes, and looked in the direction, the howling continued and the party rang on through the trees. They must know theuy have gotten to close to our house... other's would be held locked in, for their hatried of Lycanthropes...Smiling to her slef, she sprang off the edge of her balcony, landing softly, like a cat on all fours, and took of in the direction of the howling. Springing from tree to tree, she soon reached the edge of the trees, overlooking the huge rave, continuing in fornt of her. This was reckless, standing so close to werewolves, the disticnt smell of a vampire all about her. This is reckless and dangerouse, but i must have hope...
Rapture quietly walked on the edge of the party, swerving away from from embraces, to intent on their own actions to notice her too sweet smell, all the while looking out to the part infront of her.
Drexel - October 7, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Breaking through the cover of the trees he saw the large group of people in their frenzy. Glow sticks flew through the air and whirled around in people's hands. The lights flickered, fast paced along with the music. He could hear the heartbeats of every single person here. They were all either as quick as the tempo or even quicker, some so quick that he was sure they would be dead in seconds. Someone threw up a few feet away and he shook his head. "Poor weak-stomached humans..."
After wandering around a little and feeling bad for all the pitiful humans that couldn't take the torture they were putting upon themselves, Drexel decided he'd find the others and see what they were up to. It wasn't hard at all, seeing as how their scents were embedded into his brain. Not even the mixture of blood, vomit, drugs, and alcohol could stop him from smelling them.
Kevin was close by, dancing frantically with a red-head that was wearing almost nothing but glowing bracelets. Her heart was one of those that was pumping faster that the music. He let out a laugh as Kevin tried to slow her dancing to fit the beat. Another fit of laughter burst out as she puked all over his new shirt and then passed out, laying her face into her own vomit. Kevin took a quick step back and let her fall to the floor. His eyes met Drexel's and they were somewhat agitated.
"Having fun Kev?" It came out mingled with light chuckles.
"Shut up.... Let's go get the others."
"Alright. But you gotta admit, man. That was funny."
Drexel easily dodged the playful punch that was thrown at him and laughed again. They pushed through the crowd of people and followed the scent of hormones that could only be Luke and Liz. As they both expected, the two were glued together and lip-locked, pressed against one of the giant speakers.
"Get a room you two!" Drexel chucked a rock at Luke's head, but it bounced off unnoticed.
"Come on guys." Kevin started to pry them apart unsuccessfully.
Liz lightly pushed Luke's face away from hers and laughed. "We tried that. You guys still harass us."
"Well maybe if you two weren't so loud all the time we'd leave you alone," Drexel noted with a light punch to Luke's shoulder, accompanied with a soft laugh.
"Seriously though you two, we're at a party. You can make out anytime. Have some fun."
The pair's lips parted again and Luke turned around to face the others. "We are having fun, Kevin. What does it matter to you anyway?"
Shrugging, Drexel looked to Kevin and said, "Well. I guess they'll just have to miss out."
"Guess so," Kevin agreed, turning away.
Tassadar - October 7, 2007 11:56 PM (GMT)
Tass watched her move around the room. watched every emotion, every gesture, everything about her had changed...she was different in so many ways...or was she always like this...had he just forgotten everything it was...everything it ment to be part of this family....
"You've changed in the last 20 years, Tassadar. You've brought the proof that my master asked of you, there for I will stick to his word. You are excepted. But your diet needs changing. I'll have no human feeders among my ranks! You are to be like us or not one of us, Is that understood?"
he was hurt by her words...but not because she made him change his diet...it was her tone...as if she was so disapointed...in him. he finally looked up to her again as she said.
"Tass, you where my brother, the closest thing I had to a family, and then you just left. I was hurt. But I understand now. Welcome back, my brother."
he smiled to her and nodded. he watched her leave and then he went back to the window and watched the rain. he was happy...for the first time he had been happy in so long. it reminded him of old times....times when it was just rapture and him...
he looked out the window and saw her heading away form the house...he raised a brow and then poped his neck. he walked out of the room and then to where they held his weapons. he strapped them onto his back and then he followed her...staying downwind from her so that she wouldnt notic her. he heard noise...music...a party...but the smell...lycans....
he watched her closely but mostly watched the people around him made sure that noone was going to come up behind him. he stayed a distants away were he could see her well enough. he new no lycan would smell him. he had 20 years of practise of keeping his sent hidden from lycans.
rapture - October 8, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
The music was inviting, and the smell of sweat odered the air, human hearts beating way to fast. Someone will die tonight, sadly, but that was nothing she could stop, nothing she could protect the pittiful being from doing to himself. She could take it no longer.
Walking into the fligh of bodys, jumping every which way, to the beat, sweat and rain made the ground muddy. Catching the attention of some random male in the throng of people, she lead him to the middle of the group and began to dance with him, him of course never taking his eyes off of her pale and briliant beauty. The music took over, and Raptures teenage sencasions took hold, making her body move gracefully, flowing through moves everyone around her was doing. She sighed and laughed out loud, musicaly, entrancing the boy in front of her even more. Looking back at him she saw the gleam of victory in his eyes, and laughed again. Everyone around the two of them looked at them, everyone, males and females at awe with the strange woman's movements, and perfection, though they still danced to the beat.
Rapture put her nose to the air and sniffed again, and found the sent she'd been looking for.. werewolves. Deciding to let thim smell her was the idea, and she decided to keep on dancing wiht the poor helpless boy, jumoing around to the beat.
Tassadar - October 8, 2007 12:42 AM (GMT)
Tassadar watches her walk into the masses he growls to himself and then has to move closer to get a good view he makes sure she cant smell him but he knows if there is a lycan down wind they will have noticed him.
he see's her dancing and he smiles to himself watching her having fun he looks down for a moment and then back at her. he watched her intensivly. he was almost entralled at her body and the way it moved he then shook his head and looked at the croud watching a lycan walk towards her his eyes got wide and then he hopped down from the tree. his cloak flying upwards towards his body when he landed silently he looked into the croud seeing two lycans right infront of him stairing him down.
Tass showed no emotion he ignored them both and walked into the throng of the people. he felt the lycans watching him and he barly heard as if a wisper of a wisper.
" go warn the others....we have trouble."
Tass pushed his way through everyone untill he reached her he came up behind her so she wouldnt see him. he slowly slipped an arm around her waist and started to dance with her his eyes meet her and then he smiled he looked at the human she was dancing with and he reared his teeth at him and scaried him off. tass laughted lightly to himself and then loosened his touch on her and then kept dancing with her. he made sure to keep his body close to hers rythmically moving and rolling to the beat of the bass. his hands only slightly touched her sides and stomach laughting at her and with her.
this was the first time he had had fun since he went on his crusade twenty years ago.
rapture - October 8, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
While she was dancing so suddenly caught the scent of a vampire, and then an arm wrapped around her waist. Opening her eyes again, Rapture saw the boy run off, and looked behind her to the man holding her. Shock lingered only a few seconds in her eyes and then she laughed able to enjoy her sel again. At least im not alone, she thought silently to her thoughts. Something in Tass's eyes told her something else, and so Rapture decided to put her mind powers to the test: What was he thinking, closing her eyes once more, with a smirk on her face, she sorted through his thoughts...
Lycanthropes, she saw through tass's eyes, were approching her, and tass decided to help protect her. Her smirk grew, and she opened her eyes, with a knowing smile, then spun out of his grasp, to face him, still dancing to the rythem, matching his own grace and then some. The humans around them watched in awe agian as the two vampires moved unnaturaly graceful, the two perfect people, shinning in the flashing lights all around.
Rapture laughed again, her melodiouse voice carrying in the wind, and she felt the extacy of the music fill her once more. No longer was she the vampire, leader of her family, but just a 17 year old beautiful girl have a good time.
Drexel - October 8, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
Suddenly two strong scents filled the air. On was incredibly sweet, but the other smelled of someone with fresh blood on them. Kevin looked to Drexel and whisperd "We've got troubl. I'll tell the others." he turned away toward the other two and sped off.
Drexel followed th sweet scent through the crowd of people, getting shoved and punched and having drinks spilled on him. He wasn't paying any attention to the others though, his mind set on one thing; to find the source of the sweetness. Never had he smelt anything so amazing, though the scent was vaguely familiar in a way.
When he finally found the source of the scent he was stunned. There she was, perfectly beautiful and almost exactly how he'd remembered her. The only difference was something he thought couldn't be possible. She was even more beautiful than she had been before, or was his memory just fuzzy.
He shook his head and rubbed his eyes. 'This can't be real. I must have inhaled too much smoke. It's messing with me. But this hasn't ever happened before. What's going on?' Slowly he closed the distance between them, but then he smelled the other scent. Suddenly a pearly white man was dancing with her, a grin on his face. Thousands of thoughts ran through his head at once. 'Is it really her?' If it wasn't he would look like an idiot if he approached her. And if it was. But it couldn't be. Could it? He stared at her amazing beauty for a moment longer before someone grabbed his shoulder and spun him around.
"What are you doing Drex? He's right there! And he's armed. We've got to get out of here, we dont want to start anything." Kevin tugged at his shoulder again and started to walk away.
Drexel took one last look at her, decided he was imagining it, and turned away to follow.
rapture - October 8, 2007 01:31 AM (GMT)
suddenly one thought busted through all the noise.. a male's voice, stronge, and powerful in her mind... could it be?
'This can't be real. I must have inhaled too much smoke. It's messing with me. But this hasn't ever happened before. What's going on?'
In a flash, her head shot in the direction of the man, and there he was, almost exactly like he was before he left her... before her life turned into a world of bloodlust, and fighting, and power above imagionation. There was her long lost friend, the man she'd been looking for.
It took only a sacond for her to make up her desision, and suddenly she was right behind him, he having decided to follow his fast thinking friends out of the party.
She grabbed his shoulder, and quietly whipered into his ear, "Drexel.. I have waited a long time for you..."
Tassadar - October 8, 2007 01:57 AM (GMT)
Tass felt a voice enter his head.
'This can't be real. I must have inhaled too much smoke. It's messing with me. But this hasn't ever happened before. What's going on?'
he looked around and saw two lycans walking away he raised a brow and then watched Rapture fight with a desitions trying not to envade her mind to find out why he watched her walk away he followed and then watched her meet up with the man. he watched them talk listening to everyword until he felt a grip on his shoulder gerk him
" we think you need to leave...."
two lycans were behind him one with a hand on tasses shoulder the other already had his claws drawn but had them low so others wouldnt notice them. tass looked them both up and down and then looked to the one who was touching him
"im not leaving without her...and it would be best for you mut....to let go of me....unless you want this night to end in blood..."
the lycans growled slightly and tass gerked his shoulder so that the lycan let go of him tass started to walk towards Rapture when one lycan roared in a human tone and threw a punch Tass didnt even turn around he moved to the side grabed the mans arm and broke it with a twist and the drop an elbow on his radius he twised the wrist and then steped over the lycan who was ont he ground now whineing as the second lycan approched him he drew the sword on his back and pointed it at the approching lycans throat. his eyes flashed red for a moment and he growled showing his teeth for a second and then closing his mouth
"dont make me kill you....dont make me spill your blood...."
Tass had drawn so much attention the lycan ont he ground was roaring while tasses foot held him to the ground and he held up his broken arm making the bone pertrude the skin. his other arm holding the blade to the lycan...the humans watched...confused and scaried some started to run others watched in awe.
Vincent - October 8, 2007 02:37 AM (GMT)
He got into his 67' GTO and started up the engine. The car began shaking as he revved the engine up and then he began squeeling tires right before he shot down the road. He continued speeding down the roads, in between the trees, getting closer and closer to the lights. He could barely hear the pulse of the music over the roar of his car's motor. He continued shooting down the now muddy road as the rain drops continued smakcing against his window. Until he reached a point in the road when he locked up his brakes and went sliding around until he came to a stop with his car facing the opposite way and perfectly parked next to another car.
He got out of his car and began walking towards the beat of the music that he could now hear with his car off. He walked up to a small hill and began looking at the crowd of people, "Now, lets have some fun." He thought to himself as he began walking down the hill, and already noticing that he was getting looks from some of the women that he was passing on the way down the hill.
After looking through the crowd and at some of the women while he was walking down the hill, he saw a Vampire in the crowd of people talking to someone he knew from a club in the city, Drexel. He made his way through the crowd and up to Drex and his friend. "Hey, how's it been going so far? Looks like everyone could have a good time here tonight." He shook his now soaked head, and then pulled his now dampened jacket closed as he looked to Drex and the Vampire. Dean knew that she was a Vampire, but he wasn't going to attack her just because of that fact. And then he began asking himself about how she would react to the fact of him being a Lycan.
Dean then noticed that the other Vampire that was with the female Vampire was now involved in a small conflict with some other Lycan. Dean walked over to them and looked down at the Lycan on the ground and then at the Vampire that was holding a blade to another Lycans throat, then to the humans who were just looking around at each other and at the man with the sword and the one he was holding the sword to.
Dean then stepped up to the man, and looked him in the eyes, then he looked down at the Lycan on the ground. The Lycan on the ground looked at Dean and his eyes widened. Dean looked to him and then to the one with the blade at his throat and nodded telling them to leave the area. The two of the young Lycans quickly scurried away, doing as Dean wanted. To the other and younger Lycans, Dean was a superior, and they listened to him, not wanting to see his temper.
Dean then brought his attention to the man with the sword. "Excuse those two, the like to jump into things before they think things over and see what or if they have a reason to act." He said to the man with the sword as he casually put his hands into his now completely drenched jacket, and his hair now dripping wet.
rapture - October 8, 2007 01:18 PM (GMT)
The man stopped under her cold touch, then, but didn't tur around. Rapture waited, to see the reply Drexel would have to seeing her, exactly how she'd been 45 years ago, and to what she'd become. would he be disgusted? would he try to kill her, like so many other werewolves? She wasn't sure. Thn another of Drexel's kind, again, male walked up to the two of them and starte talking to Drexel, while looking at Rapture, noting her to be a vampire.
Then the man walked away, and with him, Rapture's attention, for she noiced now that something had been going on behind Drexel and her. Halfturning to see what was going on, Rapture's anger was invoked by the sight of Tassaar, pinning one of the lycanthrops tot he ground, his sword to another beast's neck, and then he fleeing humans, wided eyed and scared wiless, not nderstanding what was going on between the two men. Without taking her hand of Drexel's soulder, Rapture Stood tall, anger flashing in her eyes, but a mask of stone hardened her face. "Tassadar." the woman spoke just bairly above whisper but it rung loud and clear through her mind. She spoke with all the power within her, and the anger behind her words was barly notible. "What have you done? Stand back, and put up your weapon, there shall not be a fight between us, no matter how pervoked you were. I say again, Stand Down!"
Wither her words, she placed a cold glare on Tassadar, watching him, and allowing some of her anger to slip through he mental connection she placed between them.
Drexel - October 8, 2007 08:07 PM (GMT)
As he turned around and began to step away, to follow Kevin away from the potential threat, a deep chill cut through his body. It started at his shoulders in what felt like the pattern of a hand, and jolted down through his spine. Then he heard her voice, soft and sweet. "Drexel.. I have waited a long time for you..." It was exactly the same as he'd remembered it. Another chill ran through him, this one caused not by her coldness, but by the realisation that she was still alive, after all these years, and she was one of them.
For a moment he just stood there, awestruck, but a familiar face popped up out of the crowd. Dean walked up to him and said something, but Drexel was in too much shock to hear the words. Slowly he walked past, eyes focused on something Drexel couldn't see.
The moment seemed to last an eternity, her hand was still upon his shoulder, the deep cold not lifting a bit, in fact it was getting colder with each passing breath. Finally he turned his head to look into the eyes of the only person he had ever truly loved.
"Rapture." He could barely speak her name, but he was sure she had heard him. There was a hunger in his quiet tone, a lust for her embrace. His composure set in slowly as a smile crosses his eager face. "It's really you, isn't it?" Disbelief filled him, but he knew with all of his heart that it truly was her. She was there, standing by him, her hand on his shoulder. Too dazed to say anything else, he just stood there gawking at her, completely oblivious to his surroundings. 'Am I really standing here? Is she really here with me? I thought she would be dead and gone.' A tear crept its way from his eye and ran down his cheek and he let out a heavy sigh.
rapture - October 8, 2007 08:29 PM (GMT)
"Rapture." the sound of her old firend's voice brought her back from her anger. She turned around to look into the Emerald green eyes she remembered, and sighed softly. All her searching came to this, finding Drexel in the middle of a human rave, as a vampire. "It's really you, isn't it?" She could feel emotions surging through his mind, desisions it seemed he was trying to make, the shock that sent Drexel's mind into a frenzy. Rapture nodded slowly, once, all traces of that powerful being from before gone, just her as that strange 17 year old again. A smile flitted acrossed her face, but then she remembered her place, and slowly, unsurely, took her hand of of Drexel's shoulder.
'Am I really standing here? Is she really here with me? I thought she would be dead and gone.' Hearing his thoughts was unsettling, but no matter how hard she tried, she cou;dn't stop the flow from his mind. A tear ran down his check, barely noticable in the downpour, but Rapture could smell it, smell the salt. A sigh parted her lips, and Rapture took his shoulders, and huged him quickly. Then turned back to watch the what Tassadar would do. Standing besides her old friend she could barely think of what to say. "I have been searching for you... ever sence I became... a vampire. Im a leader now, of the family that took me in. Tassadar.. He just returned himself. He's.. protective over me, which is why he acted like he did, which is why he followed me." her voice was barely a whisper by now, and suddenly Rapture turned to look at Drexel, and said, "It's been 45 years, and you still look the same to me."
Drexel - October 8, 2007 08:57 PM (GMT)
Her words echoed through his mind. "Ever since I became.... a vampire." 'A vampire....' From the second she'd touched him he knew what she was, but the words seemed to startle him a little. He sighed again and wrapped his arms around her as she looked over at a figure nearby. Drexel assumed it was Tassadar, but he wasn't quite sure what she had meant when she spoke about him, still unable to fully comprehend his surroundings. "It's been too long Rapture." He paused for a moment. Why wasn't she surprised to see him? She should be as shocked as he was right now. 'Had she known all along?'
He tried to follow her eyes and that's when everything began to clear up a bit. The pearly white man was standing over someone who seemed to be whining on the ground. Upon closer inspection he saw the broken arm and the blade at his throat.
So that's what she'd meant about this Tassadar guy. After a quick sniff he realised that the man on the ground was like him, a werewolf. Dean seemed to have the situation under control. He seemed to be quite confident about how he held himself. Drexel hadn't encountered too many vampires, and never had he seen one fight, so he wasn't sure if Dean would be able to take the pearly man. The wounded werewolf was younger than him, and wreckless, definately newly reborn, not able to control himself, not able to tap into his full strength. Drexel had no little doubt that Dean could take this guy. He'd brawled with Dean a few times before, and knew his strength to be enormous, but most of his kind were, the experienced ones at least.
Rapture looked back toward him and gazed into his eyes. It wasn't until then that he'd noticed the butterscotch color of her beautiful eyes. They were the only things that changed, and he wished they hadn't, preferring the soothing ocean blue that they once were. It was the one thing that had diminished in beauty with her new life. Then she spoke once more, that musical voice of hers.
"It's been 45 years, and you still look the same to me." Though it was just a whisper, he heard it clearly and the calmness she said it with confirmed his suspicions.
"You don't seem too surprised about that." Something inside of him told him that it didn't matter, but a small ammount of his feeling of betrayal seeped into his words. "Why is that?"
Tassadar - October 8, 2007 10:08 PM (GMT)
Tassadar felt the welp under him shakeing in fear and confusion. Tass admitted that his move on him was fast and quick a stronger and smarter wolf would have known better to lunge like that. Tass staired directly into the eyes of the lycan who was with his friend that was now on the ground the lycan growled and looked at the blade that was at his throat and then back into Tass's eyes. ten as a larger man, standing much taller than Tass, entered the scene tass looked at him ready to redirect his sword at a moments notice. when Dean looked at the other lycans and nodded they scampered away tass didnt let go right away of the one he had pinned he then tossed his ripped open arm aside and kicked him to the side.
dean was now circled with Tass he half expected a fight. he was ready to end this quickly but then dean spoke
"Excuse those two, the like to jump into things before they think things over and see what or if they have a reason to act."
Tass raised a brow. he new that this lycan was stronger than the two whelps he had just bested with ease. Tass knew better tan to be over confident to think he could take this man just as easy. after 20 years of hunting and slaughtering their kind you learn not to be cocky. Tass nodded to the man and started to put his blade away when he heard Raptures tone
"What have you done? Stand back, and put up your weapon, there shall not be a fight between us, no matter how pervoked you were. I say again, Stand Down!"
Tass didnt say a thing his reaction didnt change his sword went to his back as he strapped it back in he nodded to her and through and defended himself mentally with Rapture
" i didnt attack first and i didnt kill anyone....please...do not be mad at me...."
Tass eyes Dean for moment still expecting a fight from him. he didnt trust their kind...not after what they did to Angeal...Tass then looked to the humans....Tass closed his eyes and gripped a hand into a fist. he didnt mean to but he wanted to make sure that these lycans werent going to hurt her. he took a leap into the future to see if everything would be safe...
it was fussy he couldnt make everything out perfectly...but so was normal. he could see himself perfectly.could see everymove he made. he seemed to have his sword dawn....and swinging it across someones chest. it had to be a lycan....there was another man with a sword that just barely missed Tass's shoulder after he ducked and turned around sliding it into a mans stomach.
it went to a quick flash of Rapture who was fighting someone who was holding onto her wrists. she jumped up and kneed the man in the chin snaping his neck from the force. then kicking off his body....then all went blank.
Tass opened his eyes quickly and looked at the werewolf infront of him....tass's eyes were blood red now...he was startng to get hungry...but now was no time to feast. he turned around quickly grabbed Raptures wrist and with a tight grip he wispered in her ear
" we need to leave...now"
rapture - October 8, 2007 10:44 PM (GMT)
Drexel wrapped his arms around her, holding her close for a second, then spoke.
"It's been too long Rapture." She nodded again, not feeling the need to speak. Yet again his thoughts hit Rapture hard.
He paused for a moment. Why wasn't she surprised to see him? She should be as shocked as he was right now. 'Had she known all along?' She sighed siftly, not wanting to answer that, not wanting to be what she was, wishing things were back to normal. "You don't seem too surprised about that." Something inside of him told him that it didn't matter, but a small ammount of his feeling of betrayal seeped into his words. "Why is that?"
In a whisper she answered his thoughts. "I've known for a long time that you were a werewolf. I knew before you left, well at least i had a hunch. I remembered the smell of you though, and after I'd been changed, I smelt another Lycan, and I knew I was right. I knew what you were...As to why I am not surprised.. well much hasn't been able to completly surprised, but believe me, when your thoughts screamed at me i was shocked. I couldn't believe that after so many years, I'd finally found you...I'd begun to lose hope that i would."
She wanted so much to be able to feel a warm tear streak her face. Sighing softly she thought 'Tonight is indeed a night for tears, thought I shall never feel the warmth nor shall I taste the salt of them again.' He felt betraid, and Rapture's first response to that was to deffend herself. Instead she just decided to explain a little.
" I am sorry for how this turned out. I never went looking for vampires, but sadly one found me. It was about six months after you'd left, and well... he was.. unresistable... we all are. He took me on the exact day that it was six months sence you left Tas-Druna...." she trailed off, and again spoke too softly for human ears to tell, "I am sorry, Drexel..."
Staring back at Tassadar, Rapture watched as the man put away his swords, then faced her to deffend him self. His thoughts rang loud in her head.
" i didnt attack first and i didnt kill anyone....please...do not be mad at me...." Rapture nodded, and looked at Tass and took a step forward, breaking the physical contact with Drexel. Then Tassadar closed his eyes, and Rapture decided to watch what he was seeing.
it was fussy he couldnt make everything out perfectly...but so was normal. he could see himself perfectly.could see everymove he made. he seemed to have his sword dawn....and swinging it across someones chest. it had to be a lycan....there was another man with a sword that just barely missed Tass's shoulder after he ducked and turned around sliding it into a mans stomach.
it went to a quick flash of Rapture who was fighting someone who was holding onto her wrists. she jumped up and kneed the man in the chin snaping his neck from the force. then kicking off his body....then all went blank.
He quickly opened his eyes once more and looked at Rapture. Suddenly he was in front of her, holding on to one of her wrists and whispered into her ear.
" we need to leave...now" Rapture was already nodding before the words left his lips. Indignatly, she broke Tassadar's grip on her and turned back to Drexel, Sorrow showing through her expression. "Drexel.." her voice clear, and mornful, still held that alluring musical sound to it, as she talked. "I hope to see you again.. very soon, but i must go...." She looked into his startling green eyes again and quickly turned away and headed into the direction of the woods, through which the mannor house would be easily found.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A dark room in the tallest building in the center of downtown Tas-Druna. A man standing and looking out through the window, smoking a ciggar, one hand possitioned behind his back. A second man leaned calmly against the door, flipping a quarter no his thumb.
"What do you have to report? And for your sake this had better be good." the first man stated, in a rough growl, still unmoving unless it was to flick his ashes into the closest crystal tray.
"We've got a trace to a suspect we've been watching for several months now. We believe the subject in question is an import figure to a coven thats been hidding in the woods for sometime now..." the man at the door spoke in a monotone, obviously bored with the whole situation.
"And have you found this hidout?" the growl asked.
"No.. but we think our suspect will lead us there, and soon. It wont belong now, before we have one of the biggest covens in the city's history."
"You'd better find it tonight Loring... It was be unpleasent to lose such a valuable play as you..." the threat hung in the air.
"Yes, sir." and with that Loring walked out of the room. As soon as he reached the street, he took out a ciggerette, lit it, and began pulling on it, keeping his calm about him. He would not fail. He will get what was needed. Walking past him, a young woman stopped and staired at him, obviously in awe of his strange, and hard beauty. A sly smile lit up Loring face. 'Maybe it could wait a little later... ' and with that he walked up to the woman and the pair walked away.
Vincent - October 8, 2007 11:25 PM (GMT)
Dean watched as the man sheathed his sword, and then turned to the corwd of humans. Dean, himself had turned slightly to take a look at the crowd, and at some of the peoples faces. Some of the faces seemed to be scared speechless, and unable to move, others seemed to be interested in what had took place in front of them. Dean returned his eyes to Tassadar, and noticed his eyes. The bloody red color of his eyes meant that he was hungry, and well Dean himself was getting that way aswell, but he put his hunger aside for the time being.
Dean looked to the small group of possibly 20 to 30 people that were still around, "Alright, the parties over now. I think all of you should be going now." Dean said as he looked around at the group, "I've got the people I need here now." After saying this, he noticed that only around 5 or 6 of the people were leaving. "I'm an undercover police officer and I recommend that you all leave, now if you don't mind." This time once the words left his lips the group of people quickly began splitting up and going to their cars. "Works everytime." Dean said to himself softly.
Dean looked back to the two Vampires and to Drexel, "Drexel..I hope to see you again.. very soon, but i must go...." "So, I take it that you two know each other?" Dean asked Drexel while he watched the two Vampires exit the now empty field towards the woods.
Drexel - October 9, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
She left before he could say anything more. He didn't want to let her go, but she was gone before he could even try to stop her. Confusion muddled his thoughts because of her apologies. She was saying sorry for what she was, but Drexel didn't care that she was a vampire. In her eyes he saw everything he needed to know about her. Those butterscotch eyes told him so much. First off they assured him that she felt the same way he did about feeding on humans. Something told him that she wasn't too keen on killing werewolves either, otherwise she would have been a little bit more on edge about the situation she was in.
Her deep gaze also told him that she still cared about him, and it pained him to see the hurt that filled them when she said that she was sorry. All he wanted to do right now was to talk to her and ease her pains, to let her know that he was ok with what she was. Rapture was the best friend he'd ever had, and losing her once was hard enough, especially when it was what he was that had forced him to do so. And now he faced the possibility of losing her once again, and once again it was because of what he was. Not for the first time did he wish that he had never wandered so far into the woods alone. The only thing that had happened that he was really happy about that was caused by the change is the fact that he met her at all. But was that really a good thing on the terms that it had been? Sometimes he thought it would have been better to have been mortal and not known her, than to have to endure the pains he had. Maybe they would have met in that normal life and everything would have worked out wonderfully.
Attempting to clear his head, he shook it and then looked to Dean, standing alone in the now cleared meadow.
"So, I take it that you two know each other?"
A sigh escaped his lips and he started to explain. "We met a long time ago, when I was new to this life. She was a human back then, and we were great friends. There wasn't much we didn't do together. But..." The memories came back to him and he sighed again. "But the townsfolk started to get suspicious of my aging, and I had to leave. I didn't want to leave her there, but I couldn't force her to come, and I couldn't reveal my secret. She would have been terrified. And I wouldn't have been able to handle that. So I left, wandering the country wondering how she was doing. Every now and then I'd write to her, but after about a year I couldn't find her anymore. She'd moved or something, without telling me. And I couldn't stay much longer where I was. So we lost contact after that. I thought she'd grown old by now, but surprise surprise." He paused for a moment, wondering what Dean would think about his rambling on. "I'm sorry... Once I started talking I couldn't stop the memories from flooding back."
Slowly he started to turn around, thinking it better to leave it at that, hoping to be able to just walk away and think for a while. He knew better though, so he hesitated slightly, waiting for Dean to stop him.
Dean looked to him, "It's ok man, she was a big part in your life, and basically like your best friend, so it's ok. You don't have to apologize for it." Dean then looked back in the direction that the Vampires ran off to, and then back to Drexel, "I could use somethin' to eat, lets go grab a bite and try to get your mind off of things." He looked to him again, "And I mean, you'll probably see her again, somewhere in the city." He said to Drexel trying to cheer him up a bit as he started towards where he parked his car.
Drexel - October 9, 2007 12:42 AM (GMT)
A nod was his only reply. Silently he walked back to his bike alongside Dean, not noticing the pace they were going at. Before he knew it they were at the now empty parking lot. Still in his own little world, Drexel mounted his bike and started the engine. The roar of it brought him back to the real world and he remembered what he was doing now. "So.... You're hungry then? I'll follow you I guess. I'm not too hungry, so you choose where we're going."
He revved the engine again and did a quick burnout. Not really caring where they went, he was growing impatient. All that he wanted was to feel the cool air against his face and let his mind slip into it's own little daydreams.
Once Dean was in his car he revved the engine again and took off to follow it. Rain pelted his face, but he didn't care. The stinging actually felt relieving in a way. Better than the buzzing in his mind at least. He upped the throttle a bit and passed Dean for a minute, then slammed the brake and drifted in an arc around the front of the speeding hunk of metal that was coming at him. The adrenaline didn't help as much as he thought it would, and he sped up again to make up for stopping. 'Wonder where we're going.'
Tassadar - October 9, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
Tass looked at the crowd and then to dean who was sending them off he nodded t him. there was something about him that Tass actually like...he shook his head what was he thinking....a lycan was nothing more than scum and barbaric creatures that kill just to kill...nothing more...he had killed two clans...or at least two clan leaders inhis 20 year pilgrimage NEVER finding a lycan to prove otherwise....
he looked at Rapture and nodded to her telling her mentally
"Its time to go...its not safe here anymore....you must not be here."
he looked at dean again and then walked away from them all looking at some humans and they cleared away for him and rapture to walk out. as they walked away from the crowd he breaks a long silence with one sentence
"im....sorry Rapture..."
rapture - October 9, 2007 01:10 AM (GMT)
They were soon out of the crowd of people when suddenly the silence between them was broken.
"im....sorry Rapture..." Tassadar said it, and Rapture could tell he ment it. Gently placing a hand on his shoulder she nodded to him, smiled slightly then, without hesitation started running, and was just as quickly, flitting. Tassadar was right beside her, she knew, and soon they reached the mansion. Walking up to her silver, speedy car, she turned around, and faced Tassadar. "I'll not make you stay here, for the night. Its noisy, and loud, and if you'd rather a more quiet place, you can come with me. there's and extra apparentment close to mine and im sure you can use it...." she spoke softly.
Jumping into the car, Rapture revved the engine, and took off, figureing that Tassadar could find her easily enough. Hoping that he could, for that small hope also held the chance of seeing drexel again. Lening back against the seat, Rapture closed her eyes, and rubbed them with one hand, the other stearing the car at 100mph... it was just getting started. Soon she'd be in the city, and back to her small, quiet, three-roomed appartment. She'd possibly be alone, to think through her next move, to plan the day ahead of her.
The same question swam through her head... and it tormented her all the way back. Soon she was back to her apparentment, and she fell onto the couch, for the first time in 45 years, Rapture felt tired, but knew she'll never sleep, never recover. Panic flooded through her, and she ran to the bathroom to check her appearance.
Rapture's eyes, the was the pure gold of honey two hours ago, was now almost a black pit. Sighing softly, she understood the sudden realization of tiredness. hopping back into her car, she headed for the woods yet again, found a small, but satisfying animal, and came back, in record time, her weariness left behind.
Again throwing herself onto the couch, Rapture turned on the TV, to see if anything of interest had happened.
Vincent - October 9, 2007 01:25 AM (GMT)
Dean continued driving, looking in his rear view mirror every once in a while to make sure that Drexel was still behind him. He figured that Drexel could keep up with him if he began gaining speed, and driving like he usually does. He began laughing a little as he saw Drexel speed up and pass him and then drift around the front of his car. Then he floored it and squeeled tires a bit and began shooting down the muddy road, and through the trees, as the rain drops continued hitting the windshield of his car.
Dean continued into the city, and eventually stopped at a little diner. He got out and the rain had turned into a thunder storm. The rain began coming down faster and harder and now there was lighting shooting accross the black night sky and thunder boomed through the city every once in a while. He watched as Drexel drove towards him on his bike. He nodded and turned towards the front doors of the diner and walked in. He grabbed a table and ordered himself some food and started thinking to himself.
He looked at the clock on the diner wall and saw that it was only 10:15, "Hmm, well it's still early, we may be able to find some other party to have a good time at."
Tassadar - October 9, 2007 01:52 AM (GMT)
Tass followed her to the mansion he was tired..and getting hungry. very hungry. he hopped onto fenrir his motorcycle and followed her into town. he saw where she parked and stopped he watched her go into her apartment and she waved at him...he did not smile he looks sad and depressed....he then looked down and then shook his head he was very lonely...he was mad at himself...why did he ever leave....but then he came back and understood. to kill...to kill every lycan he came across untill he avenged his human mentor...Angela hewley....thats where he wanted to go...thats where he wanted go...
he reved the engine loud and drove off fast leaving tire tracks. he sped off swearving in and out of traffic at 115 miles per hour. he reached the interstate and added another 20 miles per hour. running past a cop he smirked at the thrill of a chase..... he flew past the exit he needed and then growled.
he turned around and quickly floored it again zigging out of the way of the cop he took the exit he missed and then floored it into the forest on a none paved path turning off his lights...not needing the light for his night vision was perfect. he smirked and kept flying through a now overgrown path. he had to drop his speed he only was going about 15 miles an hour now....letting memories flood his mind.
"Angeal....how could i let you down....i failed you..."
he pulled up infront of a house...two stories wooden...the door ripped open and thrown outside...still there....the twenty years he had been gone...the house was still standing...and still perfectly stable...just as he left it...that blody night...
tass turned off fenrir and walked into the house...he looked around the house still distroyed still ripped apart by the lycan horde that came through here. bones laid around him....Angeal hadnt gone down without a fight... tass walked around and found a corner on the second floor where the bodies of the lycans where in almost a perfect radius away from the corner....
"this is where you died....defending your daughter...the love of my life....i let her and you die....i let you down master....but i hope that...that....his death....that the damnable silverback who killed you and my beloved Sarah's life.....i hope that his death can let you both find peace..."
he fell to his knee's and wished he could cry...wished he could die....
"please....please...forgive me...." he drew his two handed claymore...and rammed it into the ground where he fell... and then pulled out a small dagger and cut his wrist
"i hope...that my blood...will show you...my memories...so that you can relish in his death....his torture as much as i did....master....i have avenged you..."
he squeezed out more blood and then took off his shirt and wrapped it around his arm. he threw down the dagger aswell and walked outside...he was starving....and he needed food....he needed something....anything....a deer...he smelt a deer...he wanted to feast on a human...they tasted better in his opinion...but animals would do for now...he then hunted...untill he found his prey....
Drexel - October 9, 2007 02:12 AM (GMT)
Dean headed toward town, a place Drexel rarely ever went, and soon stopped at a little diner. Drexel was close behind and was in the door before it shut behind Dean. They sat down and Dean ordered something to eat. "Hmm, well it's still early, we may be able to find some other party to have a good time at."
A glance at the clock told him that it was only 10:15. Could it really be that early? No... Surely it couldn't. The party couldn't have been cut short so quickly. He looked down at his watch and saw that it indeed was only 10:15. Shaking his head clear again he shrugged off the thought. It took him a moment to decide what to get, he really wasnt all that hungry. He tapped his hand on the counter to get the waitress's attention. "Can I get a coffee and a BLT please?"
"It'll be a minute. Would you like decaf or regular?"
Even though he knew he didn't need the extra energy, Drexel smiled and said, "Caffinated please. Thanks." He hated the taste of decaf. The young lady came back a moment later carrying Dean's meal and set his coffee down in front of him. He nodded back at her in thanks and took a sip. Black wasn't really his style, but he needed the reality check. He calmlystirred in some cream and sugar and took a nice gulp before turning to Dean again.
"Hey, sorry to disappoint you, but... I'm not really in the mood for another party. I've got a bit of thinking to do tonight." The waitress brought his BLT and he handed her a 20. Glancing over he smiled and said, "Keep the change." In another large gulp his coffee was finished, then he picked up the sandwitch and took a large bite, savoring the taste of the still sizzling bacon. "And give my compliments to the cook." The girl turned around and winked at him.
He finished the first half quickly and picked up the second, looking back over at Dean. "You go have some fun, man. I'll catch up with you again soon. I'll only be a buzz kill if you took me to a party now." He gave him a little two finger salute and walked out of the diner.
With a roar his bike came to life and he sped away, into the storm. This was his favorite kind of weather, the rain felt good against his warmth. Speeding through the city wasn't something he did often, and soon the lights started to dull and he found himself in a more broken down area. Something was strange about this place. There was a certain scent to it. 'It's her....' The smell wasn't quite as strong as it should be, she wasn't there at the moment. He tried the door but it was locked, so he made sure nobody was watching and he climbed the wall, sniffing for where her scent was strongest. When he found the right window he slid it open and hopped in. Something was telling him that this was the right thing to do, even though he wasn't so keen on breaking an entering. His instinct told him to go into the bathroom and dry off.
It didn't take long for her to get back. He was just starting to get dry when he heard the door open and the TV flick on. Slowly he made his way out of the bathroom and looked over at her. "Rapture." It was merely a whisper, but he knew she'd be able to hear it.
Vincent - October 9, 2007 03:24 AM (GMT)
Dean looked at Drexel as he finished his coffee and took a bite out of his sandwhich, "Hey, sorry to disappoint you, but... I'm not really in the mood for another party. I've got a bit of thinking to do tonight." Dean looked to him as he swallowed a bite from his burger, "That's cool, I understand you've got some thinking ahead of you." Dean looked to the waitress and called her over, asking her for a refill on his water. She nodded with a smile and walked off, returning a few minutes later with the water. "You go have some fun, man. I'll catch up with you again soon. I'll only be a buzz kill if you took me to a party now." Dean nodded to him as he walked outside and started up his bike.
Dean finished up his burger and fries and sat sipping on his water as he looked out of the window thinking, "Let's see, where should I go now? I could just go to a club and ask around for any knowledge on any parties, or I could get out on the streets and look for someone to race." Dean then brought his attention from the storm outside to the waitress bringing him the check. He paid the amount due and gave the rest to the waitress as a tip. "Well, you and your friend are thebest tippers I've had all night, you all should stop by more often." The waitress said with a slight laugh. Dean smiled to the waitress, "Well, we may be around sometime." After he said this he walked through the door, out into the storm. He began walking to his car, getting his keys out of his pocket and unlocking his car door. He got into his car and began listening to some music still thinking to himself about what he should do, and watching the lights whiz by from the cars driving back and forth next to his parked car.
He decided to go to a club and enjoy the rest of the night and was about to start his car up when he noticed the waitress, whos shift appeared to be over, quickly hustle out of the diner and began making her way quickly down the street, unaware of the man who was standing against the building and then decided to follow her after she walked past him. Dean watched as the waitress, followed by the man, walked down the street and around the corner, out of sight.
Dean started up his car and whipped it around and began slowly driving down the street and around the corner where he parked it and got out in the steady downpour of rain. He stood next to his car looking for the woman and the man, but didn't see anything. He then began smelling of the air and realized that she had ended up going down an alley way. He started off down the street, following her scent down the alley way and eventually seeing hearing the sounds of her screaming. He quickly began running towards her screams. He quickly arrived to where she was, seeing her being pinned in a corner by the man that was following her. "Gimme' you purse and jewelry and you won't get hurt!" The woman was quickly scurrying to take her purse off of her arm and give it to the man,all the while asking him to just leave her alone. Dean walked up behind the unsuspecting man and grabbed the back of his shirt and jacket, lifting him up off of the ground and lightly tossing him to the side, "The woman said to leave her alone." The man hit the ground and the purse dropped to the ground. Dean picked up the purse and handed it back to the woman, but just as he turned his back the mugger hopped up and ran at Dean and tried to stab him in the back. Dean stepped to the side slightly, and caught the mans arm and saw the knife he had. Dean plucked the knife from the mans hand and looked at it, "Now what were you going to do with this little thing?" Dean could feel the man struggling to get free and then he felt the man hit him in the back of the head. Dean let go of the mans arm and he backed off, "You know, that wasn't very nice of you to do that, and I really don't like how you were trying to rob this young woman over here either." The mugger looked to him, "Screw you, now why don't you mind your own business and get lost!?" The man shouted to Dean, "Now that was uncalled for." Dean took the knife he took from the man, and threw it at the mans leg, stabbing him in the thigh, "Now consider that a warning and get out of my sight before something worse happens." The mugger looked at Dean and then took off, running down the alley and out of sight.
Dean turned to the young woman, "Are you alright?" The young woman nodded to him, "Do you need a ride somewhere?" He asked her. And again, the woman nodded, "Do you mind telling me where that would be?" He smiled to her this time, and she told him. They walked back to his car and he drove her to her apartment. "You know, that was one of the nicest things anyone has done for me. Anyone else would have just turned their head and looked the other way, but you actually helped me." Dean looked to her and smiled, "Well, I guess I'm just not like other people." The woman smirked a little then she got out of the car, "You should stop by the diner sometime again and we can talk more, oh and I'll treat you to some of our famous cheesecake too." He looked to her and smiled, I may take youup on that offer." The woman then walked up to the building and opened the door, but turned and waved one last time before she dissappeared into the building.
Dean then began driving down the road but noticed something. He noticed that Drexel's bike was parked on the side of the road, not far from a Lamborghini, "Now there's something that I bet my car could beat." He then turned his car around and parked behind Drexel's bike, "Now,I wonder where he is? I bet he's off seeing a lady somewhere." Dean begand laughing a litte to himself.
rapture - October 9, 2007 02:17 PM (GMT)
Nothing of interest showed through the screen, and So rapture decided to flip through the cahnnels, waiting for something to catch her eye. The light blaried on the TV suddenly, as a middle agged man walked onto the screen, in a white suit, and hat, trying to ell a knife set. He was jolly, and reminded Rapture of all the santa' round chrstmas time. She smirked. looking around the appartment, Rpture sighed and decided it was time to clen herself up, for she stll had blood, now drying onto her skin, an she was soaked from the rain and the hunt.
Before she could stand up, however, She noticed the bathroom light on, and suddenly, he walked through the door. "Rapture." he whispered her name so softly. He was soaked, and he seemed to be trying to dry off. Surprise lit her face, not that he was there, but that she didn't hear his mind, and the idea of being able to be cught off guard, scared her. She wasnt used to surprises, and tonight had been one of many. Closing her eyes, and skaing her head, Rapture tried to clear her head, tried t focus on her tacks, and her surroundings, making sure they were safe. She reached out and touched every mnd in the building, and sighed softly, knowing that many we're not at home, or asleep.
Opening her eyes again, Rature stood up and looked at Drexel. Suddenly she remembered the blood, the reason for her to move. Gasping slightly, Rapture hid her face, and rushed past the man into the bathroom, and washed her face.
Looking into the mirror, she was saticfied with her appearene, at least he blood is gone... Turning around, Rapture stood tall, though soaked, and faced Drexel, looking into his eyes and sighing softly. "Hello again Drexel... I did not think to see you so soon..." She trailed off as her mind found yet another persons mind, someone who knew drexel, noticed his motercycle sitting outside of her uilding, and had decided to investigate it seemed, though she wasnt quite sure. "It seems as if you have a friend sitting outside..." Rapture smiled, and walked past Drexel, back into the livingroom. "So you followed my scent did you? Am I really that noticable?" a slightly colder then usual chill was sent through her body then, the idea of her preticular smell would be easy to find. Her face softened all the while, looking at him. Sighing again she spoke, as if she would to her dearest friend, "We hav much tot alk about, I'd wager. Many ques-..." she broke of suddenly. THEY WERE HERE!!! THEY WERE LOKING FOR HER! Rapture hissed, and looked towards the front door to the appartment. "Hunters.." she hissed, and made a quick motion towards the window to Drexel. In a flash, Rapture wasa at the door, locking everything, buying her some tim before they'd try to bust down the door. Glancing around the apparentment she noticed nothing out of place, nothing to give away how and what she was.... other then her smell. Quickly she went to the bathroom and urned he shower on, then the radio, and started filling he room with her shampoo, which smelt like normal strawberries. Then she stood next to Drexel. "come we must leave. there are onl the two of them anwhere close to here, and they aren't sure which appartment that I live in." she hissed. Opening the door to her bedroom, Rapture and Drexel, went ot the window, opened it, and Rapture prepaird to jump, but caught herself. voices drifted up from the floor below them.
"Ma'am, we're here to check the Cable settings in each of the appartments here. We've been getting calls that have come from this building, so we are inspecting each appartment and fixing any problems we find." a smooth male voice offered.
"Oh, well.... then, yes do go on." An elderly woman answered next. A hiss parted her lips, as Rapture listened to how easy it was from humans to be so easiy tricked by people with power, other non-humans, or even just plain clever humans. It only took a few minutes before the voices sounded again.
"Well," second male voice boomed, " looks like everything is as right as rain here. Sorry for the trouble, ma'am." and with that, the door to that apprtment slammed shut.
"Let go." Rapture whispered, and jumped through the window, to land like a cat, and stand up siftly. Drexel was soon behind her, and nodding to him, Rapture walked to the driver's side of her car, got in and started the engin, wating to see what Drexel would do.
Drexel - October 9, 2007 02:48 PM (GMT)
He hadn't noticed at first, but her face was smeared with blood. She'd just hunted, that's why she was gone when he got here. Seemingly embarassed by the mess she was, Rapture made her way past him and cleaned up int he bathroom.
"Hello again Drexel... I did not think to see you so soon..." Drexel thought to himself that he hadn't expected it either. It was just a coincidence that he had caught her scent on his random journey through town. It was a hard scent for him to pass by, that sweetness that he'd remembered so well from so long ago. He'd never be able to forget that scent, and it was aplified now that she was what she was.
Suddenly Rapture tensed up a little, seeming to be deep in thought. "It seems as if you have a friend sitting outside..." How could she know that? "So you followed my scent did you? Am I really that noticable?"
"Rapture, how could I not notice your scent? It's been on my mind ever since I met you all those years ago."
"We hav much tot alk about, I'd wager. Many ques-..." She was suddenly really tense and he thought he heard her mutter the word "hunters." then she motioned toward the windows and started rushing to lock her door and do a few other odd things. Drexel went over to the window, slowed by his confusion, and she was there beside him as soon as he reached it.
Rapture was about to jump out of the window, but stopped as the voices filtered up through the floor. Someone was looking for her. After they listened to what the voices were saying she leapt out of the window and Drexel hastily followed. She opened the door to a silver lamborghini and looked to him, waiting for him to make a move. He opened the passanger side and hopped in. His bike could wait for later. Right now he had some catching up to do.
"So many questions....," he mumbled.
Vincent - October 9, 2007 06:38 PM (GMT)
Dean had just begun to get out of his car and walk accross the street to get himseld a drink from the little convinience store on the corner, when he heard a window slide open from one of the floors on the apartment building. He looked up and saw Rapture in the window, looking ready to jump, then she did and was followed by Drexel.
The two of them then hopped into the silver Lamborghini that was parked outside of the building. Dean began running back to his car and jumped in, "So, that's whose car it is? Well, she's got good taste in cars." He started up his car's engine, "Better follow them, just incase they run into some trouble eventhough Drex and his friend can probably take care of themselfs." Dean then noticed some movement at the window they had jumped from and looked to it. The were a couple of men standing in the window now looking out at the car, "There they go! We've gotta move!" Dean knew what the two men were, hunters, and they were also the reason why Drexel and Rapture left the apartment. The hunters then dissappeared from the window. He had started wondering if Drexel and Rapture had noticed the hunters seeing them getting into the car.
Dean began revving his car's engine up and started to follow them as they started off down the street. And taking a quick glance into his rear view mirror he caught sight of the men making their way out of the building and around the corner into an alley way. Then a speeding car shot out of the alley, and quickly span around and began making its way towards the Lamborghini and his muscle car. He sped up next to the Lamborghini and pointed behind them to let Drexel and Rapture know that their guests from the apartment building were still following them.
rapture - October 10, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
Soon she was flying down the street, a muscle car right behind her, and a black Jag. following behind it. Searching the minds of the people driving the two car's behind her, Rapture saw the two hunters in her window, from Dean's mind, and then saw the minds of the hunters, trying to gather speed on the two cars.
"Damn... Why tonight?" she mummbled to herself. Setteling into a comfortable postion, Rapture said," Seatbelt. This is going to get fast..." As soon as the words left her lips the car behind her drove up next to her. She looked through the tented windows of her Lamborghini, and noticed the man in the other car, the man who spoke to Drexel earlier. Knowing that he would probubly see her throuh the windows, Rapture nodded to him, and then looked forwards, raming the gas pedal to the floor, she quickly reached 150mph, the cars natural limit, but then pushed a small red butten on the wheele, and the car flew, faster and faster reachign speeds closer to 200mph. With the slick streets, the rain blocking anyones view of the street and car's ahead, not to mention the car's speed, soon Rapture and Dexel passed up Dean, and flew, outrunning the balck Jag. the hunters were driving.
Even in these conditions, the superhuman hunters had to be careful, their vision not so perfect has a vampire's or werewolf's, and their reflexes just a bit slower then the two non-human races, they had to fall back, which gave Rapture the perfect idea. They could now only follow her scent, for she had nowhere to turn to... but there was only one flaw to this: Rapture would lose her beloved Lamborghini. "Take one for the team, Rapture.." she growled, reminding herself of her duties. Seeing that Dean wasn't far behind, Rapture drove out, and soon, the two car's were approching a lake. Finding a hidden drive, Rapture slowed down, pulled a U-turn, and drove into the hidden driveway. Once Dean's car parked behind her, Rapture walked over to the car, knocked on the window, and waited for it to roll down. "Drexel, you have a choice." She said allowed, so both men could hear. "Either you could plung your life into more danger, and follow me into the river, or you could go with Dean to where ever it is that you would be safe." Looking to Dean she spoke again. "Same for you, yet, I'd hate to be the reason for you to lose such a fine car. I... do not like the idea of my car being in the hands of those hunters, but theres not much I can do.. other then slow them down.."
With that, Rapture nodded, her usual way of saying thanks and for goodbuys, to Dean, then turned to face Drexel. Sighing, she slowly walked towards him. "So now you make a choice. I'm not sure where i could go that's actually safe for me, seeing as how there's not way im going to the family's house. My scent is all over the place.. It'd be better for that to not happen. Drexel..." she began, but couldn't think of anything to say, and decided to block what his mind oculd be thinking. Slowly she wrapped her arms around the man, and hugged him, remembering his scent once more, then pulled away, looked into his green eyes, still giving the offer, and turned towards the lake, and began to walk into the ice cold water, which to her wasn't bad... nothing was as cold as death.
Drexel - October 10, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
Rapture looked over at him and said, " Seatbelt. This is going to get fast..." A smile crossed his lips at the words, and a light laugh escaped his lungs. Fast was good. He really didn't see a reason to put his seatbelt on, he completely trusted her driving, and never used his own when he drove, even at top speeds, so he didn't heed her warning. When the car hit 200mph he was smiling, but decided that the howling he did when he usually got an adrenaline rush wasn't appropriate just now, and held it it.
The car came to a halt on a hidden driveway, next to a lake, and Rapture got out. She headed over to Dean's car and starting talking to him. Drexel got out with a huge grin on his face, the adrenaline still rushing through him, and walked over to her as she looked to him and began to speak.
"Drexel, you have a choice. Either you could plunge your life into more danger, and follow me into the river, or you could go with Dean to where ever it is that you would be safe." Looking to Dean she spoke again. "Same for you, yet, I'd hate to be the reason for you to lose such a fine car. I... do not like the idea of my car being in the hands of those hunters, but theres not much I can do.. other then slow them down.."
With a sigh and a nod she turned away from Dean and walked to Drexel. "So now you make a choice. I'm not sure where i could go that's actually safe for me, seeing as how there's not way im going to the family's house. My scent is all over the place.. It'd be better for that to not happen. Drexel..." She wrapped him in her strong embrace and Drexel took the opportunity to drink in as much of her sweet scent as he could before her cold body parted from his warmth.
For a moment her liquid butterscotch eyes met his emerald ones, and Drexel couldn't help but smile. Then she turned away and started toward the lake. Drexel turned to Dean and looked at him for a brief moment. "Sorry. Looks like I'm going to have to leave you to find your own party once again. She still hasn't told me what I want to know." Without further hesitation he followed her into the icy waters, which didn't phase him at all.
When he caught up to her he wrapped an arm around her shoulders and smiled. "I know a place you can hide. Theres a cave hidden behind a waterfall about ten miles from here."
They reached the shore and he took a few quick steps, nodding to her to let her know he was ready to run. Without even seeing if she nodded back he sped off into the darkness of the forest. Trees sped past at an alarming rate, but he could still run a bit faster, though he didn't know Rapture's limit. It seemed like only a few moments passed and they were at a river. "We're going to swim to it. You'll be harder to track that way."
Tassadar - October 10, 2007 01:29 AM (GMT)
Tass finshed draining his deer and then headed back to fenrir he got to his bike and heard something within the house he raised a brow and then walked up to the door and looked in...nothing..he searched around downstairs and found nothing....maybe it was from upstairs...he walked up the stairs...seached around and saw nothing...he even went back to the room where he left his two swords...nothing...
Tassadar started to walk out of the house. he was halfway to the stairs when he heard bones crushing under boots...he sniffed the air and smelt nothing, not lycan, not human, not vampire...nothing... he raised a brow...maybe something had just fallen....it was storming outside..Tass walked to the stairs when he caught the glimspe of three men all wearing black looking around the living room. one had a sword drawn and the others looked to obe filtering through the bones and other things. Tass put his back to a wall and then peered in there again...
Two of the men started to pan out...something was wrong...why coudnt Tass smell them...Tass was a trained and expert hunter of all three races...something about this was wrong....and ontop of that. one of them was missing....tass had only looked away for two seconds to press up against the wall...there was no sound or anything so hint to were he had gone...now another one walked out of site...this wasnt good tass needed to get the hell out of here...he needed to find a weapon to protect himself...
Tass took one last look and could see a single human down there...the human's head jerked towards were tass's was tass pulled back fast and then pushed off the wall and ran down the hallway silently. he got to a door and then opened it it made the most horrendous sound and then fell off its hendges tass was holding it and then cursed loudly. he turned around and saw a man with an odd tatoo over his left eye right behind him tass instantly hits him with the door the man drew his sword and cut the door in two the bade bairly missed tass. Tass's eyes went wide and he jumped back to the wall and kicked off it into the air. the man swng his blade at tass but tass spun and jerked out of the way then bringing his foot to the right side of the mans head. the man fell the ground dropping his sword but then quickly getting up tass reached down and grabbed the sword but only to see a mace swinging at his chest tass quickly jumped backwards missing the mace's head by an inch. tass then jumped back against and went through a window, he landed on his back and groaned loudly he looked up at two faces that seemed to just dissappear
what was this....he thought as he got up. he pushed himself up and looked at a the man with the mace who was right infront of him tass had no warning...he didnt even see the man come from the door...he didnt hear him or smell him even this close he couldnt smell him....Tass kicked upwards and hit the man in he groin the man was taken back a bit tass quickly rammed his sword into the mans stomach. the man groaned and then the sent hit tass like a shockwave....human....but something is odd here....Tass pulled the sword out and then kicked him down looking up he saw the other two men stairing him down one had drawn a sword.
Tass quickly ran towards fenrir which was onthe other side of the house. the two men behind him they were MUCH faster than Tass somthing was wrong....Tass should have been faster moving than he was now...he then jerked himself into a roll after feeling the two men right next to him on either side. he launched himself into the air with a kick and felt the mans sword swing right under his left arm. Tass swung back and the man but was hit in his back by the other man. Tass growled and then rolled on the ground towards fenrir and quickly started it. but not after receving a slash on his back.
he Roared as he drove off almost not keeping control of the bike. he turned the lights on and roared out of the forest back towards down....he looked back and saw two bikes following him....
rapture - October 10, 2007 01:43 AM (GMT)
"Sorry. Looks like I'm going to have to leave you to find your own party once again. She still hasn't told me what I want to know." She heard Drexel say, but it didnt surprise her. Soon after she heard him splashing into the water after her, and then felt the warmth of his arm around her shoulders. Looking over to Drexel, Rapture stopped walking.
"I know a place you can hide. Theres a cave hidden behind a waterfall about ten miles from here." Rapture nodded slowly, half-smiling to him, and then watched him walk back to the bank, and get out of the water. Then he took off, running down the strip of land next to the flowing water, doging trees as he went.
"So we're playing that game?" and in an instant she was behind him, laughing, and knowing this wasn't his fastest, let alone as a wolf. "This all your gonna show me?" Rapture asked, teasingly, and took off infront of him, soon becoming a blur, doging trees, occasionaly treding on water, slpashing some b ack at the Werewolf who followed her, gracing the land around her with a genuine laugh. Drexel soon caught up with her, and together the ran undill they could no longer, for the end of the seemingly animal trail had ended and reached into water.
"We're going to swim to it. You'll be harder to track that way." Drexel said, and Rapture nodded in agreeance.
"My Idea exactly..." looking around she noticed something then smirked. "I guess i wont be taking finals this week..." then she laughed, and dove into the water.
Vincent - October 10, 2007 03:06 AM (GMT)
"Either you could plung your life into more danger, and follow me into the river, or you could go with Dean to where ever it is that you would be safe. Same for you, yet, I'd hate to be the reason for you to lose such a fine car. I... do not like the idea of my car being in the hands of those hunters, but theres not much I can do.. other then slow them down.." Dean nodded to her, "I understand that, and I'll stick around here for a while. We won't be losing our cars so easily." He smirked to her and began backing out of the driveway and put his car into park facing the sound of the oncoming Jaguar that the hunters were in, and turned his lights off. He sat there, in his car, waiting for the Jag to get closer to him, his car purring quietly waiting until his foot hit the gass. Dean continued sitting there and noticed that Drexel and Rapture began speeding off along the water. He stared into the distance, and then began concentrating on Drexel's thoughts. He soon found out where they were going, a place he had been before and knew where it was.
Just as he got that bit of information from Drexel's thoughts, he saw the headlights of the Jaguard, still speeding towards his location. Dean smirked, and said to hiimself out loud, "Drexel, you're going to miss one hell of a rush!" He then dropped his car into gear and squeeled tires and shot off towards the oncoming Jag. He began reaching high speeds, and the Jag was still a ways off. He looked down and noticed something, "105 miles an hour? We can do better than that." He pressed harder on his gas and looked down again, "165 miles an hour, now that's much better." He smirked and then flipped his lights on, "Peek-a-BOO!! I see you!!!" the smirk on his face getting wider. He continued on as the jag and his car continued on a path destined for a fiery end. The hunters in the Jaguar were taken off gaurd not, suspecting him to be there, and quickly jerked their car out of the way of danger. Swerving and sailing off of the side of the road and slamming into a stray tree on the bank of the lake. The Jag quickly became a blaze of hot metal, and as Dean slammed on his brakes and got out and walked to the edge of the road and looked on, the flames reaching the gas that was leaking from the Jag, and setting it off like a bomb, sending pieces of metal and the car flying in all directions. Dean watched on, "Well, I kinda doubt that they survived that, and what a pitty to do to a Jaguar too." He began shaking his head as he turned and looked back at his car, "Heh, a Jaguar still can't touch this monster." He began laughing outloud as he walked back to his car.
He got back into his car and returned to the secret driveway, and looked on at Raptures silver Lambo, "Well, she'll probably be happy that she gets to keep her car." He thought to himself as he parked his car next to hers and got out. He began looking down the bank at their footprints now sort of fading from the heavy rain. He sighed,locked his doors, and then closed his car door and walked to the bank, "Well, looks like I've got a bit of exercise ahead of me." After he finished his sentence, he began shooting through the trees, following the scent of Drexel and Rapture until their scents left the land and were cut off by the water. He dove into the water and began swimming, taking his time while he did it. He knew the way to the caves and was just enjoying the cool water as he swam.
Drexel - October 10, 2007 07:09 PM (GMT)
Rapture dove into the water and Drexel followed, then began swimming upstream. It didn't take long before the crashing of the waterfall could be heard, and then seen. Foam billowed around them as they got closer. Drexel went under the surface and swam below the crashing water above him. A lip of rock stuck out from drop behind the waterfall, and he climbed into it, waiting for Rapture to surface and follow.
He motioned for her to climb up and eneter the cave. The sound of the waterfall was enormous as it echoed through the cavern, bouncing off the smooth stone walls over and over again. Trying not to think too much on the sound, he led her to the back of the cave, which really wasn't that far back. Knowing that she probably wouldn't feel too safe in such a small cavern, he smiled to himself. Thought the wall seemed to be the end of the cave, there was a small crack at the side of it.
His fingers fit into the crack like it was made for them, and he gave it a heavy push. The wall gave way and slid like a door. It opened into a large cavern with two tunnels at the back. There were also a few couches along two of the walls. Once she entered the hidden room Drexel slid the wall back in place and looked over at her with a grin. "Pretty nice huh?"
With a smile on his face, he walked over to one of the couches and plopped down with a sigh. Patting the cushion next to him, he looked to Rapture. "Come sit with me. We can finally catch up on things in peace. I have some questions to ask you, and I'm sure you have some for me. I'll even be nice and let you start." He smiled and patted the cushion agian.
