ok so ive recently bought this game and omg this game rocks total ^&*, its pretty freakin tight. you start out as a mercenary who is looking for a way to make himself known...or maybe its just to gain some coin, or even maybe its loyalty to a cause, my choice (( which is totally up to you and not really part f the game)) was for glory and to protect the innocent peasantry of France. basically seeing as how i'm a history nut i already know that i would fight for the English but the choice is totally up to you. you can even fight for both if you really want..

ANYWAYS you get to customize your character or at least his face, gender, and voice. you also get to put different armor and clothing and weapons on your char.... any weapon you can think of that was used in the hundred years war you can use in this game you can also use some that weren't used then.

the game is awesome its alot like Kingdom under fire a game that i really didn't like it was really hard to use the platoons in that game. but in this one you can fight with units, without units, behind units.

the game wont be for everyone, but i do believe everyone should at least rent it and play it once.

One thing that bothers me is that they have designed the game for a huge HD TV, where as I have my playstation plugged into tiny tv that I got from my late grandmother.

The writing is so small you can barely read it, and I can't make out any detail on the mini-map. So I usually just run around randomly. I still don't quite understand if i'm battling properly, as I seem to get my troops slaughtered a lot (especially the ones I bought myself -_-). I think I need to run through the tutorial again.

I think overall I personally would of preferred the gameplay to be like the Warriors series, but the critics would bomb it if they did that.

When I can bring myself to take Samurai Warriors 2 out of the machine i'll give it another go tonight.

lol well idk about the HD thing my tv isnt the largest and we still kill on it....but yeah its ahrd to understand the mini map i ususally dont use it. i normally press start menu and look at the larger man and zoom in lol

i fight for the british because of history but they are turning them into the bad guys on the game....makes me sad

Not much of the world has any love for the UK. It really pisses me off sometimes. I didn't like how the intro focused on the French either.

Well out of game I'm a british person who doesn't like the french, so it's only natural that i'm going to side with the british in the game too.

Anyway, i'm getting better at the game now. I'm on cavalry mostly, but they seem to level up slower than the other units...

i think what ever book you try to focus on goes slow. im sword and its slow as all get out. my horse's and spear are my next books and they are growing FAST but then again im also level 47 with sword and 13 with spear and 10 with horses.

I've spent almost every battle on horse and levelled it up to 12. Then I used Swordsmen for 2 battles and they got to lvl14 -_-

I have only used horses. I have level 66horses. That means swords,spears,lances,and halberd riders. Nothing can stand in my way. Pikes fall, archers fall. I destroy elephants and crush the camel riders. Fear the all mighty power of calvary. I destory general easly. joan of arc has falling under my spear. I destroy almost all of france with my army ahahahaha....Oh yeah i rule :)

This is only the greatest update I have ever done. I have finally beaten Bladestorm. I ended the game with lvl 77 HORSES and I am the merc general I command all the forces in the finally battle of the story against King of France, Joan of Arc, La Hire and all the other generals. None could stop. I will continue to bring glory to the Black Prince
