I want to do a Samurai/Dynasty/Orochi warriors roleplay. I can't be bothered to do a preparation topic, so just choose a character and join in. It's set in the dimensional rift that Orochi creates. I will play 'Fu Xi', a secret character in Dynasty warriors 3, and creator of humanity in anceint China. For those who haven't played DW3, he looks like this:

Let's get started


It is said that some creatures become so powerful that they can refuse their own death. Yamata no Orochi, the eight headed serpent was one of those. The monstrous Orochi met his end at the hands of the legendary Susa-no-Ō. Though his body was mutilated, his will could not be slain so easily.

His spirit lived on in aa dimensional limbo, but was also bound by it, destined to spend eternity, in a world that he created himself. After countless years deep in thought, the Serpent King discovered the secrets of time & space, and in an effort to amuse himself, he transported to him the greatest warriors from the Three Kingdoms period of China, and the Sengoku period of Japan.

In a mere few days, his self-created demon army conquered them all. Now, to further his amusement, he plays them against each other. Many of the great warriors have formed small pockets of resistance, but so far in vein.

It was at this point that another mythological entity took an interest in the battles. This was FuXi, creator of humanity. This uninvited guest had forced his way into the dimensional rift in order to foil the plans or the Serpent King.

"Orochi you Snake, you would dare to interfere with the timelines just so you can entertain yourself.", Fuxi said quietly to himself, whilst standing upon a hill of black ash. The world around his was dark and corrupt, like Orochi himself. And as long as Orochi's spirit was in control of the land, his strength would be infinite.

FuXi, although powerful, was not immortal in this unhallowed land. He would need to find allies. Clad in red armour he strolled down the ash hill, ready to begin his quest.

His wife, Nu Wa, was also somewhere in the rift, but where he did not know. For now he was on his own.
