Well Should there? Give a reason why you think their should be a sequel

Well i would have said YES NEW SEQUEL PLZ, cause it's my fav. game, but truth is FFVIII wrapped up nicely at the end, so I see no need for there to be a sequel. A prequel isn't needed either, since the characters' pasts are all
explained nicely with no visible plot holes. So it's highly unlikely that there'll be a sequel.

I think it'll be a nice idea. I'd like to see how Squall and Rinoa, as well as Irvine and Selphie, are getting along. Maybe even Zell and "the pig-tailed girl"...

I'd REALLY like to see Seifer coming back as a SeeD (I've been reading a few fanfics where he made it). And now that I think about it, Squall and company are contracted to Rinoa STILL, at least until Timber achieves independence, which hasn't been accomplished yet. So there's something that could happen, should there be a sequel to the game...
